Farewell to DustyOldHouse.com

When I created this web site almost a year ago, I had aspirations that may, in hindsight, have verged on delusions of grandeur. The Bipolar Disorder rears its ugly head.

During the last year, costs of maintaining the site with the service provider have increased and the time and energy I have to devote to it have decreased. The only way I could see to solve the financial issues was to monetize the site which I really don't want to do. The time and energy problem could only be solved by my giving up some activities, like selling on MarketPlace, that I really don't want to give up.

Therefore, I have decided to give up the web site and the domain ownership when they expire at the end of the service year, sometime in September 2026. This decision is not technically irrevocable, but I doubt that I will change my mind between now and the expiration date of my contract with the service provider.
